Dress for Less: The Cutest Affordable Finds!
By peppermint23
If you fawn over designer items but shy away from their hefty price tags, fear not, there's plenty of adorable items that will fill your wardrobe without breaking your budget! Read on to find some of the best deals and places to explore...
AMI CLUB WEAR (www.amiclubwear.com) This eclectic "club wear" store always has great items on sale, including cute shoes, jewelry dresses, tops, pants and even Halloween costumes! Check out their Heels Under $15
FOREVER 21 (www.forever21.com) One of the most popular "dress for less" stores has even better items online than in store, including a plus size line and fashion forward Tweleve By Twelve. Check our their fall clearance for super cheap picks! This is also one of the best places to stock up on super cute, CHEAP jewelry (I'm talking $3.50 for an earring set of 4)
CUTESY GIRL (www.cutseygirl.com) Accessories, leggings, lingerie...you name it, they have it. You can search for clothes easily by color, size and event (dressy or casual). Check out these cute black knee-high boots for $24.99
HEAVENLY COUTURE (www.getheavenly.com) Based in Beverly Hills, CA, this small online boutique sells everything for $15 or less. It's a great place to get basics and sweaters. My pick? This adorable blue primrose skirt for $15
PAPAYA CLOTHING (www.papayaclothing.com) Some really adorable items and jewelry that is always affordable. I'm in love with their Blair Waldorf-esque pinstriped belted dress for $20
EBAY (www.ebay.com) You really never know what you'll find, and a lot of people are just trying to get rid of old clothes that have been barely worn. For best results, search for the type of clothing, your size, brand name if possible and color or pattern.
NORDSTROM RACK (in store only) Check to see if there's one in your area, because Nordstrom has excellent clothing that's often heavily discounted in their Rack store. I've snagged a Betseyville Betsey Johnson purse for only $40, and some great pairs of shoes for relatively cheap.
MARSHALLS, TJ MAXX, etc These department stores offer off-price chain retail and have a pretty wide selection.
SALVATION ARMY, THRIFT STORES, etc. You never know what you'll find in second-hand shops, and the prices are definitely affordable.
